CHD Academy

CHD Academy (“CHD”) is an educational organization that adjoins families who desire their children to learn using a Classical Christian Paideia .

CHD uses a core curriculum of Latin, Logic and Classical Writing, utilizing instructors to provide a rigorous sequence of group-learning activities, instructing and accompanying children and parents in their classical schooling journey. CHD also sponsors a Math Olympiad Team and runs physical education classes. CHD parents can share their knowledge and talents while leading co-op classes and study groups in history, science, and math.

Other activities:

• Sponsors classical seminars for further educational enrichment
• Administration of the National Latin Exam and Exploratory Latin Exam
• Administration of standardized tests such as the Iowa tests
• Facilitation of group field trips
• Build a tight-knit community of students and parents during their educational journey.

All of CHD’s efforts are designed to facilitate and support a family’s pursuit of a Christian, classical education for their child. CHD does not replace or supplant the parent(s) as educators of their child/children.
